The Local Vicar - Episode 5
Paul loves his greenhouse, it’s his tranquil oasis away from the rest of the world. He often takes his old guitar with him to help pass the afternoons. It’s the guitar his mum bought him when he passed the 11 plus. Regrettably, he now has to keep the instrument under lock and key. Twice, it’s recently been recovered from the local ‘Crack Convertor’ in town. The man in the shop said on both occasions, the seller was a small mischievous looking woman, aged somewhere between 28 and 65 and a vicar! Once they had their money he said, they went straight to the ‘Bargain Booze’ over the road. Paul walks home clutching the instrument he’s owned for so many years, as he turns the corner into his garden he stops......something looks different.......then he realises, his greenhouse has gone.
